As we feel the gusty winds and see the leaves falling, the second session of this year’s MEC (Mukogawa English Community) was conducted by the third-year students of the English and Global Studies Department. With being grateful to the full support of the International Center, the ‘Get to Know Each Other Party’ was a success having 15 members of MEC and 5 exchange students. After a brief explanation of the session, the participants started ‘Dengon Game’ with beaming smiles on their faces. On the program, which were voluntarily prepared by the participants themselves, were ‘Gesture Game’ ‘Nandemo Basket’ and ‘Jinro Game’.
After several years of being inactive due to limitations for events within the university, this session was a good platform for ‘getting to know each other’. (Usui Britt Marie)

MEC（Mukogawa English Community）では、2023年11月17日（金）に、今年度、2回目となる、留学生との交流イベント「Get to know each other party」を実施しました。国際センターの全面的なご支援のもと、このイベントには、日本人学生15名と留学生5名が参加しました。参加者には、簡単なルール説明をしたあと、これまで参加者が自主的に準備を進めてきた「伝言ゲーム」、「ジェスチャーゲーム」、「何でもバスケット」など、様々なゲームを通して、留学生と一緒に充実した異文化交流が行われました。ここ数年は、学内の行事が制限され、活動は控えていましたが、今回の交流はまさに、お互いを知る “getting to know each other” の良い機会となりました。（訳　小野薫里）
